B&Q report that they are expecting a boost in sales as parents take time off in the school holidays and use the time to complete DIY projects.  Flat pack furniture and decorating products are expected to be this summers biggest sellers.
If you are tempted by DIY this summer, take a look at your boot before you set out, there is little more embarrassing than paying for your new wardrobes only to find that as you wheel the trolley into the car park, you have to wheel it back as the boxes won’t fit into your boot.  I’m sure the staff will be helpful – but we all know that there will be a little smirk on their faces as they sort out your refund.
